GYGSC Open Day 13th June

GET ON THE WATER: The Gorleston Boat Hop! ⛵

Experience the rush of the open ocean and the cleanest winds on the coast. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a curious newcomer, there’s a spot on a boat with your name on it.

  • The “Boat Hop”: Don’t have a boat? No problem! Hop into one of ours, including Laser (ILCA) Full Rigs, Radials, and RS400s.
  • Join a Crew: Grab a spot on an RS400, RS200, RS500, Catamaran, or National 12.
  • Beginners Welcome: While sea sailing is perfect for intermediates, we’ll do our absolute best to get novices out if conditions allow. We also have great links for inland training if you’re just starting your journey!

🏆 EPIC CHALLENGES & PRIZES

  • Boat Hop Racing: The ultimate shake-up! No established teams allowed—only visitors, new pairings, or switched boat classes.
  • The “Full Send” Challenge: Strap on our GPS watch, pick your point of sail, and you have 5 minutes to max out your speed. Fastest time takes the glory!

🏖️ LAND LUBBERS & FAMILY FUN

Not ready to get wet? There’s plenty of action on the shore:

  • Games: Beach Volleyball, Table Tennis, Darts, and Boules.
  • Chilled Vibes: Sunbathing, tasty snacks, and long, refreshing drinks.
