We have a training/practice day programmed for tomorrow 29th June BUT as there are a few people way and some members are helping out at Rollesby so we will move our training day to Saturday 6th July (next Saturday).
If some of you still want to sail tomorrow I’m very happy to run safety cover so please let me know if you want to sail.

Gt Yarmouth and Gorleston Sailing Club would like to invite friends to a number of events to celebrate our 70th Anniversary.
Event Details.
Thursday 20th June – Thursday Evening Regatta – Start time 7pm
This is likely to be 2 or 3 races over a shorter inshore course than Sundays and with usually lighter evening winds a great opportunity to race on the sea. The evening sailing tends to attract more Single Handers especially Lasers than the larger weekend courses.
Saturday 22nd June Beach Regatta . – Start time 13:00 Briefing 12:00
Sunday 23rd June Beach Regatta – Start Time 10:30
This is our main open event of the year with 3 races back to back races each day.
What a lovely weekend ! 9 Guest’s, at least 1 new member (Welcome Richard!) visitors boats with Py’s from 907 to 1215 a great time was had by all.
Our spring social on Saturday evening was so nice, thank you everyone who came to that. Lovely food and great company.
Sailing on Sunday was great, everyone was buzzing when the came off the water.
Open Day – thank you so much to everyone who come down today and helped make today such a perfect day and staying so long to help pull the boats back up the beach, launching was easy, the sea was flat and the wind was perfect, again everyone was buzzing when they come off the water.

Monday 27th May – Bank holiday open Day. – Start time 10:30 Come with or without your boat, and experience the joys of clean wind and open spaces, GYGSC – members will be available to offer an introduction to the Sea sailing experience.
Sunday 9th June Britannia Pier Race. – Start Time 10:30 We also have a Training Day on Saturday 8th June so why not stay for the whole weekend?
